Volunteer Opportunities

There are several volunteer opportunities within the pack for parents and adults to take part in. Our pack is always looking for willing volunteers to help, whether it is helping with den leadership, a pack committee role, or even a small task in support of one of our pack events. If you are willing to help with any of the “open” positions in our pack or in any other capacity, please let us know! You can reach out to the Committee Chair, Cubmaster, New Member Chair or your Den Leader for any specific roles or other opportunities and any training that may be required.

Training

Registered adult leaders and volunteers can receive online position-specific training for a range of positions and topics. This training is available at https://my.scouting.org/. The first time you log in you will need to create an account.

Youth Protection Training

The BSA has adopted specific youth protection policies for the safety and well-being of its members. These policies primarily protect youth members, however they also serve to protect adult leaders. Youth Protection Training (YPT) is required for all registered adult leaders and all parents attending overnight activities, and can be taken online at https://my.scouting.org/. Additional information about BSA’s youth protection policies can be found here: http://www.scouting.org/training/youthprotection.aspx
